I’m still working on ‘blue’, I have got to get this album done before the end of the year for so many reasons. A primary reason is I’m DYING to start working on the next album under the ‘Union Of Concerned Synthesists’ band name, ‘Horse and Sparrow’. This will be a return to music with vocals as I have things to say, mostly ‘fuck the fascists (but don’t fuck fascists), baby boomers are the worst generation, and that billionaires should not exist.
I’m finally getting around to getting the billionairesshouldnotexist.com shop going. I’m working on the designs for shirts, stickers and other things, that will also encompass the fuckthefascists.us site.
I have a gig this weekend, the annual NEEM festival in Homer, NY. I have one more day to finish the prep, should be ok. I wish I had more time as I’ll be doing three new pieces, all part of ‘blue’ and none of them have been played live (or finished) yet. It is always harder to prep unfinished material because I end up doing more writing and arranging when I need to be doing more live prep and, you know, learning how to actually play the fucking song.
Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking with it.
